Welcome to Fairport Baptist Church!

“We thank the Lord that we’re able to worship Him in our beautiful Sanctuary again. Everything has come together as God has planned. We have been very blessed with Ingram Bay as our Contractor, and the professional work that was accomplished. May God continue to bless each one and for your financial support.”

…………………………………………………………………………………….

We are striving to be anchored in the Word of God and to fulfilling the Great Commission (Mat. 28: 18-20). Our prayer is to meet the needs of our community and friends through worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism. We invite you to worship with us as we look into God’s Word for love, encouragement, and direction for our lives.

What we believe

We believe…

The Trinity of God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The infallible and plenary verbal inspiration of the Scriptures.

The Biblical account of Creation as set forth in Genesis.

The personality of Satan. He is the father of all evil.

The total depravity of man.

The virgin birth and deity of Jesus Christ.

The blood atonement for fallen man.

Christ’s bodily resurrection and ascension back to His Father.

The person and work of the Holy Spirit.

Salvation is by grace through faith – It is not of works.

Baptism is by immersion of believers by the scriptural authority of the church.

The Lord’s Supper is to be administered to believers only and in scriptural church capacity.

The establishment of the church by Christ during His personal ministry.

The perpetuity of the church from its beginning to eternity.

Missions and Christian education as expressed in the Great Commission.

The personal, bodily and imminent return of Christ to earth.

The reality of Heaven and Hell described in the Scriptures.

The Way to Heaven – 4 Things You Need to Know
1. God says – “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) – If you’re honest, you know that you have lied. That is a sin. I’m a sinner, you’re a sinner, all mankind are sinners. How did you become a sinner? What is the price for your sin?

2. God says – “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned.” (Romans 5:12) – This is the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God told them they could eat of any tree except the “tree of knowledge of good and evil”. They disobeyed God and ate from that tree. A sin was committed. That sin passed down to you and me. The price for sin – eternal death in Hell – also passed down to you and me.

3. God says – “But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) – God loves you very much. He doesn’t want you to go to hell. In fact, He loves you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross. Jesus actually lifted the sins from you and placed them upon Himself. When they nailed Jesus to the cross, the blood that came from Him cleansed your sin. When He died on the cross, He paid your price for sin – death. They buried Jesus but He arose from the dead. He conquered death and He conquered sin.He offers you life. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. (Romans 6:23) Eternal life is a present. You can’t get baptized into Heaven, be good enough to get into Heaven, or pay money to get into Heaven. In fact, you can’t do anything to get into Heaven, except to be sorry for your sins and trust Jesus’ dying for you as your only way into Heaven.

4. God says – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) – Here is how you call upon the LORD – Do you admit that you are a sinner? Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God? If you are sorry for your sins and would like God to save your soul, just ask Him. Dear Jesus, Please forgive my sins and save my soul. Thank You. Amen.
